For Corey DeHart, being named Oklahoma's Builder of the Year by the Association of General Contractors was just another feather in the cap of an extensive career.

DeHart is the president of Willowbrook Construction and Construction Management Specialists, based in Chickasha. The company is celebrating its 25th year.

DeHart's CMS has coordinated large and small projects in hospitals, schools and churches in Weatherford, Midwest City, Norman, Perry and many more towns. Dozens of projects in Chickasha have also been managed by his team. Projects under way include the Gabriel expansion project, Epworth New Life Center, Southern Oaks Church of Christ, a junior high addition and an assisted living center in Magnolia, Ark. Nearing completion are a $7 million series of projects at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma in Chickasha. "We share this award with our clients and our community," says DeHart. "Our success belongs also to a long line of visionary owners, dedicated craftsmen, creative architects and support personnel working together toward each goal." DeHart has been a member of the AGC for many years, having served as a director, committee member and chairman of numerous committees with the association. New projects on the horizon for DeHart's companies include renovations in the Myriad Gardens, an assisted living center at Christian Care Retirement Village and several industrial expansion projects. Forecast 99 The meeting of the commercial real estate minds, otherwise known as the Forecast 99: Proceed to Go conference, will be Wednesday from 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m. at the Westin Hotel. The conference, which was conceived by the Oklahoma City Commercial Real Estate Council, is an unique event for the local market. Its objective, according to David A. Huffman, president of Property Resource Group, is to promote the Oklahoma real estate market by bringing together industry organizations while providing "an eventful, educational and informative day with national experts speaking on market trends." The conference will be highlighted by four nationally known speakers: Maddy Kent-Dychtwald, Dr. Jim Henning, Steve Richter and Howard Lundeen. A strong focus will be made on the local market as well with four roundtable discussions on trends in the area office, retail, industrial and multifamily markets. …
