* Family: Married for 14 years to M'lou: three daughters; Mollie (10), Zoe (8), and Hanna (5). Two adult sons, Andrew and Tom, by a previous marriage.

* Education: B.S. in Psychology, Denison U., M.S. and PhD in Meteorology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

* Hometown and childhood: Grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio with four brothers and sisters in pre-Bengals era. Saw Oscar Robertson play at UC.

* Hobbies: Watching daughters' soccer, swimming, and piano events, photography, eating.

* First job: Caddying at the local country club for $1.85 for 18 holes (no tip).

* Role models: My high school chemistry teacher and Isaac Crumbley for dedicating his life to helping others go to college.

* Motto: The scenery changes only for the lead dog.

* Greatest challenge: Developing the Meteorology Department at OU into a nationally competitive program. …
