BancFirst Remains Most Active SBA Lender in Sooner State

BancFirst has been named the U.S. Small Business Administration's most active lender in Oklahoma for the fifth consecutive year. The bank ended the SBA's fiscal 2000 with 126 loans totaling more than $31 million.

Kent Faison, who heads BancFirst's SBA division, said the bank has no minimum or maximum loan caps associated with the program. The bank has approved loans for as little as $12,500 and as much as $1.3 million.

Guaranty

Nicolle Lepak has been promoted to vice president and assistant controller at Guaranty Bank and Trust. She has been with the bank since 1995. Mark Morris has been promoted to vice president of commercial lending. He has been with the bank for six years. Lisa Bevel has been promoted to vice president of personal lending. She is beginning her 17th year with Guaranty.

UMB

UMB Bank now offers a new Internet development and e-commerce service to businesses, community banks and their customers -- UMB WebSolutions. It is comprised of four service components: Web site development, site hosting, shopping cart development and maintenance, and online payment processing. Customers can partner with UMB WebSolutions to begin development of a new site, update a current site or enhance the site with new features. If UMB WebSolutions develops a site, clients may also choose to have the site hosted in a secure environment provided by UMB Bank. The bank's Technology Center houses a power system that prevents the interruption of computer operations even during an outage.

Clayton Veach has been promoted to vice president/auditor/ compliance officer of First Enterprise Bank in Oklahoma City. The three-year veteran of the bank has 20 years of banking experience.
