Okla. Leadership in Law Profile: Eric S. Eissenstat, Fellers, Snider, Blankenship, Bailey & Tippens

Eric Eissenstat, a director with Fellers, Snider, Blankenship, Bailey & Tippens, has spent his entire legal career with the Oklahoma City law firm, where he has served on the firm's executive committee.

He practices in the areas of complex business and commercial litigation, business torts, computer law, shareholder derivative suits, class actions, insurance law, antitrust, securities litigation, intellectual property litigation and employment disputes. He frequently speaks and moderates seminars on business torts, punitive damages and computer-related law.

Eissenstat is a member of the American Bar Association, Oklahoma Bar Association and Oklahoma County Bar Association, where he has served in various leadership positions. He also is a master of the Luther L. Bohanon American Inn of Court.

Eissenstat, a member of Leadership Oklahoma City and Leadership Oklahoma Alumni Association, currently serves on the board of Oklahoma Lawyers for Children. Through the years, he has volunteered his time and services with Leadership Oklahoma City's Youth Leadership Exchange, Citizens for Juvenile Justice and United Way of Central Oklahoma.

"While I've had the good fortune to litigate and try many significant cases with much success, my most significant professional satisfaction seems to come from representing the kids through Lawyers for Children in deprived and abused cases, most of which involve the state seeking termination of parental rights," Eissenstat said. "These are children truly in need and it is a blessing to be able to use my training and skills to assist those in our society who need it the most."

Eissenstat is a past recipient of the Outstanding Young Lawyer and Outstanding Service to Community awards from the Oklahoma Bar Association. …
