Levy Beffort in OKC Picks Up Leasing for 6 Retail Centers

Grubb & Ellis Levy Beffort in Oklahoma City has obtained the exclusive leasing representation for six metro area shopping centers.

Louis Almaraz, Jim Rose and Michael Almaraz, with Levy Beffort, will oversee the representation of the centers. The Levy Beffort retail team took over representation of the six shopping centers Oct. 1.

The centers are in Oklahoma City, Yukon, Moore and Bethany and will account for about 650,000 square feet.

The largest of the shopping centers is the Chisholm Center at Interstate 40 and Garth Brooks Boulevard in Yukon with 237,000 square feet of space. The center is anchored by Hastings and Big Lots. Chisholm Center recently underwent a renovation and currently has 36,500 square feet of vacant space.

All of the centers are owned by Illinois-based American Asset Management Services. The company is a full line real estate advisory, management and development firm founded in 1959 with properties in five states.

Louis Almaraz said over the course of his more than 25-year career in real estate he has crossed paths with ASMS several times. He said those relationships led to Levy Beffort landing the exclusive representation contract for the companies Oklahoma properties. …
