Biggest-Ever AMPA, AutoTronics Exhibitions to Kick off on April 11
The China Post--The Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA) yesterday held a press conference, highlighting the upcoming 2012 Taipei International Auto Parts & Accessories Show (AMPA) and Taipei International Automobile Electronics Show (AutoTronics), which will jointly run from April 11 to 14.
With 1,051 parts sellers and over 3,000 overseas buyers registering to attend this year, the 2012 AMPA and AutoTronics' exhibitions will be the largest ever, forcing TAITRA to open two venues to accommodate all 2,840 booths.
Winners of the 2012 Taipei AMPA Innovation Awards were also presented during the press conference yesterday. The award-winning products will be put on display at the "hottest spots" of the exhibitions.
Automobile parts and electronics companies in Taiwan rely heavily on TAITRA to attract foreign buyers since Taiwan has very few local carmakers. The AMPA and AutoTronics exhibitions are one of the four biggest annual events for TAITRA.

Among the list of participants this year are renowned parts and electronics companies such as TYC, Depo, Eagle Eyes, Gordon, JUST TOP, Sonar, Sirius, NHC, Hota, Mobiletron, TTE, E-lead, and Whetron, as well as 160 foreign-based exhibitors. …
