Wildfire in Okanagan Shrinks


Kelowna -- A wildfire North of Kelowna, BC on Okanagan lake has diminished in size. The community of Wilson's Landing is near the blaze, but fire officials say it is now down to just 26 hectares and shrinking. Meanwhile fires near Fort Nelson become a concern as they approach gas and oil camps.


Kinder Morgan needs to sweeten pipeline pot says minister.


Kamloops -- B.C. Environment Minister Terry Lake says Kinder Morgan will also have to up its safety standards and pay more money to the B.C. government if it wants a pipeline expansion in the province.
