Ministry of Health has asked the RCMP to investigate the relationship between university researchers seeking grants and some employees in the ministry's division that decides what drugs B.C.'s Pharmacare program will cover. VICTORIA -- A Victoria Police investigation into a human-remains hoax is growing after the discovery of two more child-sized shoes on the same beach where three shoes were found last week. Police said they believe the placement of the five shoes at the popular Clover Point beach area is connected and they're asking those responsible to come forward before they're found and arrested. Board prepares pipeline safety forum

VANCOUVER -- As Enbridge (TSX:ENB) attempts to sell its controversial Northern Gateway pipeline project, the National Energy Board is examining the broader issue of pipeline safety and pointing to Enbridge's devastating spill along Michigan's Kalamazoo River two years ago as an example of why the industry needs to change. The National Energy Board released a discussion paper Thursday in advance of a forum on pipeline safety, planned for next June, citing several incidents including the 2010 Kalamazoo spill to argue the industry must to put a renewed focus on environmental safety.
