Actor Edward Furlong arrested at LA airport

LOS ANGELES -- Authorities say actor Edward Furlong has been arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on suspicion of domestic violence.

Airport police say the star of "Terminator 2" and "American History X" was arrested after officers responded to an arrival area late Monday.

He was booked on suspicion of felony domestic violence involving a spouse or girlfriend. Police did not identify the person who Furlong allegedly injured. The actor's divorce from estranged wife Rachael Kneeland is pending.

Jail records show the 35-year-old is being held on $50,000 bail.

His publicist R.J. Rousso did not immediately respond to phone and email messages seeking comment.

Borduas painting highlights Joyner Waddingtons sale

TORONTO -- Works by Paul-Emile Borduas, Tom Thomson and Group of Seven member Franklin Carmichael will go up for auction at the Joyner Waddingtons fall sale on Nov. 26 in Toronto.

Expected to draw between $150,000 and $200,000 is Borduas's painting "Chatterie," which had remained under the radar in a private collection for more than 50 years.

Two Carmichael works, "Autumn Landscape" and "Summer Landscape," are projected to fetch $125,000 to $175,000.

A rare Thomson painting on glass has an auction estimate of $15,000 to $20,000. "River Scene" is believed to have been painted in the early 1900s while Thomson was a student at the Central Ontario School of Art and Industrial Design in Toronto. …
