WINNIPEG - A Winnipeg woman accused of intentionally running over a man and his son with a minivan has testified in her own defence that she was just trying to get away from a brawl.

The 22-year-old woman is charged with second-degree murder in the August 2011 death of Marcel Murdock, who was 40.

Court has heard a fight between the teen and her boyfriend escalated into the brawl.
