China Productivity Center Kicks off Celebrations Marking 60 Years of Fostering Taiwan Business

TAIPEI, Taiwan -- Taiwan-based consulting institute the China Productivity Center (CPC) is celebrating its 60th anniversary with a series of activities.

President Ma Ying-jeou and other guests - including Asian Productivity Organization (APO) Secretary-General Mari Amano, Economic Affairs Minister John Deng and Foreign Minister David Lin - attended a ceremony at Taipei's Huashan Creative Park yesterday to mark the start of the festivities.

They were joined at the ceremony by CPC Chairman Rock Hsu and other CPC executives, as well as some 800 other industry experts, academics and government officials.

At one of the booths in the park, Ma was shown the results of a 3D-printing project - a joint venture between the CPC and a private firm. Ma was given a 3D-printed figurine of himself.
