WILKES BARRE, Pa. - Nikita Soshnikov scored once in regulation and the shootout winner as the Toronto Marlies came from behind to defeat the host Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins 4-3 on Friday in American Hockey League action.

Toronto trailed 3-0 early in the third period before Soshnikov, Mark Arcobello and Richard Clune responded with short-handed goals to force overtime.

Antoine Bibeau made 39 saves for the Marlies (22-5-2), who are 7-0-1 in their last eight outings and sit first in the AHL standings.

Clark Seymour, Scott Wilson and Derrick Pouliot built up a lead for the Penguins (20-5-1), who had their four-game win streak halted. Brian Foster stopped 27-of-30 shots in defeat.

Toronto went 0 for 4 on the power play while Wilkes-Barre/Scranton scored once on seven chances with the man advantage. …
