TAIPEI, Taiwan -- The Foreign Ministry on Tuesday welcomed Leo Lee ([...]) who returned to Taiwan to take up his post as the new vice foreign minister.

In a ceremony held for Lee on Tuesday, Foreign Minister David Lin ([...]) welcomed Lee back to Taiwan from his former post as top envoy to Sweden, a position he had held since August 2014.

Lin has previously served as the nation's ambassador to its Caribbean ally Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, and has been posted in the U.S. and its territory Guam as well.
