NORTH BAY, Ont. - Mike Amadio scored in overtime and added two assists as the North Bay Battalion edged the Guelph Storm 4-3 on Thursday night in Ontario Hockey League action.

Cam Dineen scored with 52 seconds left in the third period to force extra time for North Bay (22-16-5), while Zach Poirier and Mathew Santos had power-play goals. Jake Smith made 28 saves for the win in net.

Givani Smith had a pair of power-play goals for Guelph (9-29-5), while Luke Burghardt also found the back of the net. Michael Giugovaz stopped 36 shots for the Storm.

Both teams went 2 for 5 on the power play.

ST. CATHARINES, Ont. -- Petrus Palmu's goal in the second period was the eventual winner as Owen Sound defeated Niagara.

Kevin Hancock, Damir Sharipzyanov, Bryson Cianfrone, Matthew Struthers, Ethan Szypula and Nick Suzuki all chipped in for the Attack (19-16-9).

Jordan Maletta scored twice for the IceDogs (22-14-6), while Anthony DiFruscia and Graham Knott both had power-play goals. …
