QUISPAMSIS, N.B. - Mathias Laferriere scored twice and added an assist as the Lions du Lac St-Louis routed the Dartmouth Major Midgets 7-3 on Wednesday to stay undefeated at the Canadian midget hockey championship.

Adam Capannelli had a goal and two assists for the Lions (3-0-0). Gabriel Fortier, Kevin Pitts, Alexandre Gagnon and Azzaro Tinling rounded out the attack.

Matthew Warner, Brock McLeod and Luke Henman found the back of the net for Dartmouth (0-3-0).

Sandro Silvestre made 33 saves for the win as Aidan Hosein turned aside 36 shots in defeat.

Lac St-Louis converted three times on six power plays while Dartmouth was 2 for 6.
