Ottawa Senators Sign Forward Tom Pyatt to One-Year, Two-Way Contract

Ottawa Senators sign forward Tom Pyatt

OTTAWA - The Ottawa Senators have signed forward Tom Pyatt on a one-year, two-way contract.

The deal will carry an annual value of US$800,000 in the National Hockey League and $200,000 in the American Hockey League.

Pyatt, 29, spent the last two seasons playing with Geneve Servette of the Swiss-A League. He ranked fourth in team scoring last season with 29 points (11 goals, 18 assists) in 42 games.

The native of Thunder Bay, Ont., recorded 62 points (22 goals, 40 assists) and 18 penalty minutes in 92 games over his two seasons in Switzerland's top hockey league.

"We're very pleased that Tom has committed to our organization for next season," Senators general manager Pierre Dorion said in a statement. …
