Three cows killed when transport truck carrying them catches fire


NEW MARYLAND, N.B. - The driver of a transport truck carrying dozens of cows had to scramble to get some of the animals out of the vehicle after it caught fire on a New Brunswick highway.Police say the truck had more than 40 head of cattle and two horses on board when fire broke out at about 6 p.m. Monday near New Maryland. 125 words.
