CALGARY - The man accused of killing a doctor at a Calgary Chinese medical clinic will be seen by a forensic psychiatrist.

Jin Huang, who is 42, appeared in court Friday where the order was made.

The psychiatrist will determine whether a 30-day assessment is needed.

The owner of the Perpetual Wellness clinic, 51-year-old Tiejun Huang, was killed last week in a fight with someone who walked in with a knife.

A woman was injured in the attack and was treated in hospital and released.

Although the victim and the suspect share the same last name, police say they are not believed to be related.

At his previous court appearance Monday, Huang wouldn't say whether he understood the charges facing him and instead asked through a translator if he could remain silent. …
