- MUSIC-Tragically-Hip-Tour: Friday marks the start of what's expected to be a bittersweet chapter in the history of one of Canada's most iconic bands.Two months after the Tragically Hip revealed lead singer Gord Downie is facing terminal brain cancer, the band is preparing to embark on a 15-date tour that will culminate with a concert in their hometown of Kingston, Ont., which will be broadcast live by the CBC. 760 words. - US-Books-Stephenie-Meyer: "Twilight" author Stephenie Meyer's next novel is a thriller, without vampires.Little, Brown and Co. announced Tuesday that "The Chemist" will be published Nov. 15. The company says the book features a former government agent living underground and forced to "take one more case to clear her name and save her life." - US-People-Leslie-Jones:Under a barrage of hateful posts on Twitter, "Ghostbusters" star Leslie Jones said she was "in a personal hell" and urged the social networking service to do more to eradicate abuse.In a series of posts Monday night, Jones said she had been pummeled with racist tweets.
