Senior tops CFL's top-20 draft prospects

TORONTO - Justin Senior, an offensive lineman at Mississippi State, tops the CFL Scouting Bureau's fall list of the top-20 prospects for the league's 2017 draft.

Senior, a six-foot-six, 310-pound Montreal native, has started 28 of the 38 games he's played at Mississippi, including the squad's two contests this season. He's also been named to the South East Conference's Academic Honour Roll for three consecutive years.

Laurier defensive lineman Kwaku Boateng is the second-ranked prospect and the top CIS player. The native of Milton, Ont., has eight tackles and three sacks in the Golden Hawks' 2-0 start to the season.

Toronto native Akeel Lynch, a running back at Nevada, is ranked No. 3. He transferred from Penn State after three seasons and has run for 28 yards on five carries this year with the Wolf Pack. …
