MARRAKECH, Morocco - Hakim Ziyech converted two penalties as Morocco shut out Canada 4-0 in a men's soccer friendly Tuesday.

Mehdi Carcela and Rachid Alioui also scored for Morocco, as Canada split its two-match October series. Canada defeated Mauritania 4-0 on Thursday.

Carcela opened the scoring in the 12th minute while Canada was down a player while Marcus Haber received treatment for a cut on his face.

Ziyech scored the first of his penalties in the 65th minute after David Edgar was called for a foul inside the box.

Canadian goalkeeper Milan Borjan was injured in the 72nd minute and replaced by Simon Thomas.

Ziyech converted a second penalty after Manjrekar James committed a foul in the penalty area in the 81st minute. …
