QMJHL Roundup: Huskies down Tigres 6-2

ROUYN-NORANDA, Que. - Martins Dzierkals struck twice and Gabriel Fontaine had a goal and two assists as the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies toppled the visiting Victoriaville Tigres 6-2 on Thursday in Quebec Major Junior Hockey League action.

Rafael Harvey-Pinard, Felix Bibeau and Tyler Hinam also scored for the Huskies (10-2-1).

Charles-Antoine Poirier-Turcot stopped 28 shots for the win.

Tristan Pomerleau opened the scoring early in the first period for the Tigres (7-7-1) before the reigning President Cup champions reeled off six unanswered goals. Ivan Kosorenkov added his team's second goal late in the third.

Olivier Tremblay started in net for Victoriaville and allowed five goals on 21 shots before giving way to James Povall, who made 14 saves in 30:25 of relief. …
