ALBANY, N.Y. - Antoine Bibeau set the Toronto Marlies' shutout record on Friday in a 3-0 win against the Albany Devils in American Hockey League action.

Bibeau turned away 37 Albany shots for his second shutout in his last three starts and ninth as a member of the Marlies -- surpassing the old record of eight held by Ben Scrivens and Jussi Rynnas.

"Since I tied the record last week, I knew I was only one shutout away from breaking the record. It felt really great, I was seeing the puck really well," said Bibeau, who improved to 5-0-0 with a 1.40 goals-against average and .951 save percentage this season.

Colin Greening and Tobias Lindberg scored in the first period to give the Marlies (6-1-0) a 2-0 lead after 20 minutes. Defenceman Travis Dermott picked up an assist on each goal.

The Devils (5-2-0) outshot Toronto's AHL club 32-14 in the final 40 minutes only to be stopped by Bibeau. …
