NAT071 - (ParticipAction-Study) TORONTO. x-12s. It's well-established that Canadian kids are not as active as they could be. Now a new study suggests they're among the least active kids in the world. Researchers behind the annual ParticipAction report card compared Canada's dismal record to data from 37 other countries, placing Canada towards the bottom of the pack for overall activity. That's alongside other developed countries including Australia, England, Spain, and the United States -- who also earned a grade of D minus. Lead researcher Doctor Mark Tremblay says the Canadian winter is no excuse. ("..physical activity.") (SOURCE:The Canadian Press)
