EDMONTON. x-12s. The grieving parents of a woman who was killed at a charity fundraiser by a Jeep that rolled during a stunt want legislation that would require safety plans for such events in Alberta. John and Mira (my-rah) Green made the submission to a fatality inquiry that is looking into the May 2013 death of their daughter Melinda at an Edmonton shopping centre parking lot. Mira Green says safety should be the first priority. She says they are still grieving their loss.

TAG: During the inquiry witnesses testified that the Jeeps Go Topless show had no safety plan or event insurance and did not require a city permit because it was held on private property.
