CUPAR, Saskatchewan. x-17s. The Saskatchewan Association of Rural Municipalities welcomes a government committee that will look at rising property crime rates and police presence in rural areas. Association president Ray Orb says it seems like there was a spike in rural crime this fall and his organization wants to talk to the committee about solutions. Orb says the association would like to see a rural crime watch program revitalized.
