NAT137 - (Pipeline-Decision-Carr) CALGARY. x-12s. Federal Natural Resources Minister Jim Carr kicked off his pipeline sales mission today in Calgary, a day after the government sanctioned two major projects. Addressing the city's Chamber of Commerce, Carr framed the approval of Kinder Morgan's Trans Mountain and Enbridge's Line 3 pipelines as the culmination of a thorough and improved assessment process that heard from more than 35-thousand Canadians. Carr says that he plans to be a cheerleader for the projects going forward, with the approval itself a significant vote of confidence from the government. ("..to market sustainably.")
