STEVE CROPPER -SMITHSONIAN

WASHINGTON (AP) _ The guitars that musician Steve Cropper used on the Otis Redding song "(Sittin' On) The Dock of the Bay" and in the movie "The Blues Brothers" will be donated to the Smithsonian in Washington. Cropper will present three guitars and an amplifier he used on the Booker T and the M-G's song "Green Onions" to the National Museum of American History on Thursday.

OBIT - TONY MARTELL

MADISON, N.J. (AP) _ You may not know the name of music executive Tony Martell, but you've probably heard of the T-J Martell Foundation for research into leukemia, cancer and AIDS. Martell died at his home in Madison, New Jersey, on Sunday at the age of 90. Martell launched the foundation in 1975 and named it after his 19-year-old son, who died of leukemia. It's raised more than 270-million dollars. …
