P09 - (Bovine-TB) OTTAWA. x-16s. The quarantine of cattle in a western Canada bovine tuberculosis outbreak continues to grow, even as no new confirmed cases of the disease have been found. But Dr. Harpeet Kochhar, the Canadian Food Inspection Agency's chief veterinary officer, says he's hopeful that the number of animals quarantined may have peaked. Kochhar says there have been no signs of the illness found during inspections of cattle that were isolated for testing. ("..terms of investigation.") (SOURCE:The Canadian Press)
