OHL Roundup: Sting hold off Storm 5-4

SARNIA, Ont. - Nikita Korostelev's second goal of the game stood as the winner as the Sarnia Sting held off the Guelph Storm for a 5-4 victory in Ontario Hockey League action on Wednesday.

Korostelev's power-play goal at 18:41 of the second period made it 5-2 for the Sting (16-10-3), who allowed two goals in the final period to bring the game within one.

Adam Ruzicka also scored twice and added two helpers for Sarnia and Anthony Salinitri rounded out the offence with a goal and two assists.

Ryan Merkley scored the two third-period goals for the Storm (10-16-3). Isaac Ratcliffe had the other two.

Sting goaltender Aidan Hughes made 45 saves for the win. Guelph's Liam Herbst stopped 21 shots in the losing effort.
