An Opposition N-D-P member of the B-C legislature is calling for an independent investigation into how the Children's Ministry handled the case of a family whose five-year-old son kept breaking bones without explanation. The ministry seized the aboriginal couple's two children twice before returning them this week after doctors confirmed the boy suffers from a rare genetic disorder that is causing the fractures. Doug Donaldson says the case deserves a transparent review. ("..the answers.")
