OAKBANK, Manitoba. x-07s. Relatives are looking for answers after police revealed the death of a young Manitoba woman with autism and epilepsy was a homicide. Lydia Whitford, who was 18, was found dead in a licensed foster home in the Rural Municipality of Springfield in July, but it was just this week that the R-C-M-P announced the results of their investigation. Lydia's sister, Jessica Whitford, says she wants to know why police and Child and Family Services weren't more up front with her family.
