WINNIPEG. x-06s. Some old hockey sticks intended for a memorial to a Winnipeg teenager who was allegedly slain earlier this year have been stolen. Fifteen out of 40 sticks were taken Wednesday night from a shed belonging to the family of Cooper Nemeth, the 17-year-old who died in February. Family and friends have been collecting them to make a bench honouring the teen's memory. Family friend Andrew Skogen (SKOH'-gen) says the theft has left the family distraught.
