NAT098 - (Bovine-Tuberculosis) OTTAWA. x-21s. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says there have been no new cases of bovine tuberculosis found in the past month but that doesn't mean the crisis is over. Cattle ranchers in parts of Alberta and Saskatchewan have been rocked after a cow from Alberta that was slaughtered in the U-S in October was found to have the disease. C-F-I-A chief veterinary officer Harpreet Kochhar (KOH'-char) says including the cow slaughtered in the U-S only six have been found. ("..culture tests.") (SOURCE:The Canadian Press)
