MANCHESTER Giants' resurgence ground to a miserable halt with back-toback defeats.

After winning three on the bounce Yorick Williams' men lost 103-94 in the capital to London Lions on Friday night.

If that wasn't a disaster against a team that moved to 7/2, defeat at home to a struggling Leeds side was less palatable.

The Giants went down 104-91 with a display that had more of the characteristics of their early-season woes than their recent better form.

While Williams used a tight rotation to good effect during the winning streak, he utilised 11 players against the Force and it made for a disjointed performance.

The Giants were out-muscled at times in the paint with the visitors taking 18 secondchance points.

And while Williams will be unhappy that the refs sent Leeds players to the line for 32 shots as opposed to his own side's 23 attempts, the Giants were careless with the ball, making 13 turnovers which resulted in 21 Leeds points. …
