CITY midfielder Yaya Toure's penalty against Hull City means that he now has the best penalty success record in Premier League history of players with more than ten spot kicks to their name.

The Ivorian's penalty opened the scoring on Boxing Day in the 72nd minute and was followed by two further goals as City ran out 3-0 winners at the KCOM Stadium.

The goal meant that Toure has scored all ten of his penalties in the Premier League during his time at City and boasts a 100 per cent record from the spot during his time in English football. The record puts him ahead of Southampton legend Matt Le Tissier, who has scored 25 of his 26 spot kicks (96pc) and former Liverpool and Spurs midfielder Danny Murphy's 18/19 (95pc) record. Of current players, Chelsea's Eden Hazard has the second-best record with an 11 from 12 (92pc) record. …
