JOSE Mourinho believes United are still struggling to score in the first-halves of games after they drew with Liverpool in the Premier League.

Paul Pogba squandered a one-on-one chance with the game goalless and Simon Mignolet denied Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan before the interval after James Milner's opener from the penalty spot.

United have failed to score in the first 45 of their past three Premier League games and, in seven of their league draws this term, they have fired blanks in the first-halves of all but two of them.

"We are having this problem for the whole season," Mourinho agreed. "We start matches normally very, very well and we don't score many goals in the first-half of matches and, normally the first big occasion the goalkeeper makes a phenomenal save, every goalkeeper that comes here plays fantastic. …
