VANCOUVER. x-19s. The head of the Squamish Nation says the federal government's talk of reconciliation is mere lip service after Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announcement approval of a controversial pipeline project. Chief Ian Campbell says the Squamish Nation has launched legal action against the government, accusing it of failing to meaningfully consult his people before approving the Trans Mountain pipeline. Campbell also accuses the National Energy Board review process of being a sham.
