CITY manager Pep Guardiola has admitted he accepts the criticism of his under-fire keeper Claudio Bravo.

The Chilean has been under intense scrutiny in the media this week after it was revealed he has the worst shots-on-target to saves ratio of any goalkeeper based on their last 22 shots. Against Everton, Bravo did not make a single save, facing four shots on target and letting in four goals during the defeat - and Guardiola conceded the criticism his keeper was facing is acceptable.

"It is accepted - it is the manager's job to accept criticism. We must be stronger in both boxes." Guardiola responded when asked about Bravo.

"My consideration is to analyse what has happened and to examine it like a team. It depends on my position but I am convinced he is a good player and a good goalkeeper - I will think about that. …
