Trudeau was greeted with a standing ovation last night before taking questions that gave him an opportunity to explain his government's position on a series of topics including the carbon tax and indigenous issues.

After the meeting, Chief Bobby Cameron of the Federation of Sovereign Indian Nations, said Trudeau's visit and his meeting with voters was admirable, calling the prime minister a genuine man.

He says the indigenous community knows things are moving slowly and they sometimes get frustrated, but he says it's the fault of the Stephen Harper government, not Trudeau's. (The Canadian Press)

Drivers can apply the brakes to keep the buses stopped, but the city is still electing to pull affected buses off the street out of concern for customer safety. (CTV Saskatoon)

A former scientist with the lab, Arlene Lahti, explained the details of the testing yesterday but was also challenged by the defence over her qualifications and the accuracy of the testing. …
