WINNIPEG. x-13s. Manitoba is reviewing the case of a Manitoba man whose medical bills are close to 120 thousand dollars after requiring emergency surgery in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Robin Milne, who lives in Sprague, suffered a heart attack a few months and as part of an agreement with hospitals in Minnesota, he was taken south of the border for care. But doctors in the U-S said he needed emergency surgery and he was taken to Grand Forks after an air ambulance destined for Winnipeg couldn't arrive in time. Health Minister Kelvin Goertzen says the government is reviewing the case.
