ST. JOHN'S, N.L. x-19s. A Newfoundland university says the response has been overwhelming after it waived application fees for students from the seven predominantly Muslim countries targeted by a temporary U.S. immigration ban. Noreen Golfman, spokeswoman for Memorial University of Newfoundland, says the measure will remain in place even though the ban has been lifted through court action.
