NAT119 - (KICKER-WEA-Snow-BC) CENTRAL SAANICH, B-C. x-13s. Police in Central Saanich, B-C are shaking their heads about what could be the most unique response yet, to a series of snow storms that have blanketed large parts of the province's south. Corporal Dan Cottingham says officers in the department just outside Victoria responded to a man using a Zamboni to clear drifts off residential streets. ("..help out.") (SOURCE:The Canadian Press)

TAG: Cottingham says, without insurance, the Zamboni could not be used on public streets, so the man was politely asked to return the second-hand machine to his nearby farm, where he uses it to spread fertilizer on his fields.
