CALGARY. x-13s. A Calgary woman hopes a thief does the right thing and returns several mementoes of her deceased son that were stolen from her vehicle. Elissa Carpenter lost her 14-year-old boy, Evan, to a brain aneurysm a few weeks ago. She was in Red Deer on the weekend visiting her mother when her car was broken into and items that included Evan's favourite shoes were taken. Carpenter -- a former television reporter -- says she once covered stories like hers.
