HALIFAX. x-22s. A Halifax taxi driver has been found not guilty of sexually assaulting a young woman who was found drunk and unconscious in his cab almost two years ago. The case of Bassam Al-Rawi has prompted a debate around consent in sexual assault cases. Dalhousie University law professor Wayne MacKay says the Criminal Code could better balance the rights of the victim and accused -- but changing the code would be difficult.
