WINNIPEG. x-16s. A Manitoba politician who was kicked out of the N-D-P caucus over a sexual harassment accusation says he is a victim of identity politics. Mohinder Saran (moh-HINN'-durr sah-RAN') told the legislature he did not harass anyone and is a man of good character. As proof, he pointed to the almost-200 delegates he delivered to former premier Greg Selinger at a leadership convention two years ago.

TAG: Saran was kicked out of the N-D-P caucus in January after someone complained he had harassed them in the workplace. Neither Saran nor the N-D-P have released details. He now sits as an independent in the legislature.
