Perry North Man Pleads to Killing Pedestrian in Downtown

A Perry North man pleaded guilty Tuesday to homicide by vehicle for striking a Canadian pedestrian in Downtown last year.

Donte Jermaine Randolph, 27, will be sentenced by Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge Jeffrey A. Manning on June 13. As part of the plea agreement, Mr. Randolph is expected to be ordered to serve house arrest followed by probation.

The prosecution asked to delay sentencing so the victim's family could travel to Pittsburgh to provide impact statements to the court.

Pittsburgh police said Mr. Randolph was driving on Ninth Street on May 18 when Stephen Antenucci, 42, of Ontario, tried to cross the street in front of him after leaving Blush nightclub.

He was struck by Mr. Randolph's vehicle and died later that night at Allegheny General Hospital. …
