CALGARY. x-20s. A prominent Calgary imam is disappointed a private school plans to go ahead with an appeal of a court ruling that found it discriminated against two Muslim students by not allowing them to pray. Webber Academy is now taking the issue to the Alberta Court of Appeal after a lower court upheld an earlier ruling by the Alberta Human Rights Commission. Imam Syed Soharwardy (SY'-ed soh-har-WOR'-dee) says the school should have accepted the court's decision.
