(Marijuana-Lawsuit)

A class-action lawsuit has been filed against Canada's largest publicly traded medical marijuana producer.

The suit against Canopy Growth, and its subsidiary Mettrum, deals with recalls of medical marijuana that contained unauthorized pesticides.

A Halifax-based law firm alleges Mettrum breached its contract with consumers and that its development, distribution and sale of medical marijuana was negligent. (11)

(Europe-Muslim-Headscarves)

Private businesses in Europe can forbid Muslim women from wearing headscarves to work -- but the ban has to be part of a neutral policy within the company, and not a sign of prejudice against a particular religion.

The European Court of Justice ruling says such a ban does not constitute "direct discrimination.''

The court was ruling on two cases brought by a Belgian and a French woman who were both fired for refusing to remove their headscarves. (11)

(Hudsons-Bay-Neiman)

Hudson's Bay isn't confirming or denying a Wall Street Journal report that it is in talks to buy struggling U-S luxury retail chain Neiman Marcus.

Just last month, there was a report Hudson's Bay was looking at taking over Macy's.

The Journal is reporting Hudson's Bay wants control of Neiman Marcus but doesn't want to assume its debt. (11)
