Family Remembers Old Tappan Man

OLD TAPPAN - A borough man killed in a snowmobile accident in upstate New York on Friday was remembered by family for his big personality.

"He was a loving father and an unbelievable husband to my sister," Dominic J. Muggeo said Monday of his brother-in-law, Michael H. Stanley, who died after he veered off a trail and hit a concrete bridge in Boonville, N.Y. "He was a big man, his personality was so much bigger than him. He lit up the room when he came in."

Stanley, 44, born in Sleepy Hollow, N.Y., was the son of Skip and Rose Stanley, according to the biography on the Cassidy-Flynn Funeral Home website.

He attended State University of New York at Delhi, where he obtained a degree in computer-aided design. He married his wife, Eleanor Marie Koutsoukos, in June 2013. Most recently, Stanley had served as the director of construction at Michili, a firm which did both construction and consulting, according to the bio. …
